2016 Stress Buster Group !! is forming for March 3, 2016
What is the group about?
A powerful, effective combination of research-based healing therapies to help you deal with life changes, stress, addictions, or illness in an intimate and supportive group setting.
Together we will explore and practice:
- Guided Imagery
- Mindful Eating and Preventive Nutrition
- Biofeedback and other self-care and self-awareness techniques
With better coping skills, participants report a decrease in depression and anxiety, and a heightened sense of well-being and engagement in life, experience less pain, less fatigue, and more energy—making it easier to handle stress and illness.
How do Mind/Body Skills Groups Work?
Our groups create a safe space for people to learn simple techniques to aid in their own healing addictions, present or recent illness, a trauma they may have experienced, or simply to manage the daily stresses of life.
Groups meet once a week for 8 weeks, with each session lasting for 2 hours.
Our next group starts on Thursday March 3, 2016 at 7:00 pm.
Cost is $320 for the 8 week series.
